Throughout the years, Les plastiques Qualiplast inc. has acquired an expertise in thermoforming and is still improving to meet your demands.
With our knowledge of the various types of plastics and their inherent characteristics, we are able to help our clients choose the moulds that will best suit their needs. Our enterprise is equipped with state-of-the-art tools in computer-assisted drawing and mould production.
This process also reduces production costs, because mould production and development is less expensive than other production techniques.
With our very effective "Solid Edge" drawing software, we can draw every piece in 3D and digitize them directly into our machine tool unit, which speeds up the mould production process significantly. Our trimming is all done within the five axises. Our equipment allows us to conduct every step of the process on a single station (trimming, machining, drilling).
Our five-axis machining centre’s rigid and compact structure allows us to work on materials such as plastics, composites, wood and light alloys, even if they are thick and large.
We produce moulds that can reach up to 4, 00 m x 1,50 m (156” X 60”), with a 1,22 m (48”) height, made of resistant composites that extend the moulds’ lives.
Development
You have a product idea! Our team is there to help. If you have a sketch or simply wish to modify an existing product, there is no problem.
First, we sit down with you to discuss your idea and to better understand your needs. We also make recommendations in order to ensure the best performance and quality for your product.
Following our meeting, your piece is created on-location from a 3D drawing. Our team then creates a prototype from a wooden mould. You might want to modify the mould in the process. No problem! We will make the necessary adjustments.
Finally, our team sets up the equipment and the CNC (Computer Numerical Control). All you have to do is approve the first piece. The first order will then be sent to your factory.
